Swiftech System?

Hi

I am new to the WC world I guess...I know jack about it and picked up a swiftech kit for my PC (pic below)

I was wondering if this is all I need - do you guys recommend anything?

Will regular water do or do I need to buy cooling liquid?

Here is my kit ordered from swiftech

My system stats are:
- Epox 8k3A+ @ 266 FSB
- AMD XP 2400+ @ 2.0 GHz
- 512 2100 DDR SD RAM
- PNY GeForce 4 Ti 64
- WD 60Gig HD

Welcome to Xtreme! I run swiftech it,s great equip. I run distilled water and just a touch of waterwetter. Some guys run water and colored dye, hang on I,m sure they will stop in and give you recommendations. That kit is everything you will need. Except 1/2" tubing.

Thanks for that info - the tubing is included, just not pictured...

It will ship soon so I am excited...

Any tips or things I should be aware of before installing into my system?

I also run Swfitech kit. Added some peltier action too. Great stuff:)

The only thing you might consider is the size of the radiator. The one in that kit is quite small. I trust Swiftech to assemble good kits (I was very surprised just how effective my H202-B kit was), but nevertheless this is something you should take note of. I beleive Swiftech went more with system flexibility over cooling considerations when they went with the smallish rad. I'd recommend puting a strong fan on the rad to maximize cooling.

I might upgrade the radiator depending on how I get things to fit in my mid tower -

What program do you recommend I use to monitor temp?
I do not know if my PC has any programs that chk temps besides going to the BIOS =

Any recommends?

I didn't read the entire thread but U need to get a bottle of distilled water and then add the stuff that is in the swiftech kit. About that stuff does anyone know where i can get some? I want a nice green dye like that but i don't need it to be uv reactive. I saw alot of dyes that just glow but the swifty looks awsome without any lights.

Do get a larger rad. Heatercores from www.dtekcustoms.com are great.
