All,
I just fired up my mcw50t and it seems to be ok...
But when I turned it on the first time, I heard a little snap sound.
I'm using a 5 gallon resevoir and a submersible pump pushing about 200gph. Now after a few hours, the water heats up to about 28-32C. But this may be from the submersible pump. I can't feel the back of the pcb, as I have it insulated. I observed a fluctuation on my 12v rail as I disconnected (briefly) my tec power connector from the psu. I know I can do it by removing the block from the card, but then I'd have to jump the psu...ideas?

If you can't feel it getting cold... then there's not really any way to check without taking it apart and making sure, or somehow sliding a temperature probe down next to it.

Knight
do you have the details on jumping an atx psu?
I know there was a diagram posted somewhere a while back

Yeah, it's really easy. Just connect the green wire (Pin 4 from the left, when the little clip is on the top and away from you) to any black (ground) wire.
