3 IDE Devices, 2 IDE Channels, Best Config?

Howdy, I'm going to have 2x Maxtor 250GB 7200RPM 16MB Cache ATA Drives installed along with a DVD+/-RW Drive. These three devices will all need to be connected into the motherboard's two IDE connectors. What is the best way to do it. I'm planning on doing RAID 0 with the drives so would it better to have them both on the same channel? Or is it better to have 1 HD and the DVD drive on one channel, and the other drive by itself on the second channel? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks :toast:

Put the 2 drives on the same chain, accessing the drive while burning can effect the performance of the DVD unit.
