Everytime I start benching pi everything starts out great. I work my way up to around 2750mhz and then I get not exact in round errors. Or when I run 16k it is slow as hell. I reboot and then I cannot get above 2600 via clockgen. For everything I boot between 2475 and 2550. Now 2550 with the new bios I am using. I have no clue what is causing this problem. I am runing a 133 divider as well and slak mem timings.

Anyone have a clue to what the problem may be?

with your mem setup like that i imagine you aren't seeing any problems in memtest. whats your htt at when you were at 2750?

HTT would be about 305.5 adn actual mem speed about 196.65 I would try a 150 divider or something else but this board only has 100 133 166 200.

wat i find really confusing is the 150mhz loss in clockgen after a reboot on the failed 2750 run.
if you go to 2650 or 2700 or so and reboot before hitting the 2750 point do you get the same problem w/ clockgen?

I can't even boot that high. I boot around 2500mhz and work my way up in clockgen and then if I have a crash and I reboot I can't get taht high again using clockgen.

Thanks

Have you watched your voltages when going above 2500? I have a feeling that its a power problem and that would be why it won't boot above 2500.

The most power is used at boot time by far.

I will break out the multimeter soon. Not feeling to good but I'll get it done when I can.

Thank you
