THose arent bridges I believe, they are pads for the legs to the SMD resistors.

Yup, they're solder pads for those SMD caps that are surrounding the die already

What model is your cpu? If it's a model with only 512k cache per core, they may be for models with 1mb cache per core.

Nah, the 1MB cache cores have the same thing. Here a picture of my 165:

first off, those arent resistors, they are capacitors. and secondly, those arent spots for them, if youve ever seen a chip with empty pads, youd see they are very different. i think those are for programming the cpu.
