Hey all,

Before I did the vdd mod,my +12 line was at 12.22 idle, +5 was at 4.94 idle.

Now with the vdd at 1.8, +12 is 12.04 and +5 is 4.84.Both idle.

I have also just upgraded to a HiperPower( TTGI UK AFAIK) 520w PSU,before was a Macron 400w.

Could the vdd mod be responsible for the voltage drop?Or is my HiperPower PSU a little out of spec?

Any advice would be appreciated

On second thoughts, I've just added a 60mm fan for the northbridge that's powered from one of the boards fan headers...

I'll try powering it from a molex connector and see if that helps.

Each PSU puts out different voltages. If you were to do back to back comparisons of before and after the vdd mod, I doubt youd see any difference.

Thanks for the reply.I just used a multimeter to check the voltages.+5 is at 5.00 idle, +12 is at 12.47 idle.

+12 is maybe a little high, but it's stable, so I'm happy:)

Cool, do you think the board is reading incorrectly?

Yes,the bios readings are low by about 0.25 on the +12 line and 0.16 on the +5 line.

You should check voltages at LOAD to get a reading... Idle is useless.
