The concept is sound and it looks well made. Costs more than my phase change or my high end cpu+gpu water cooling though.

Hmm, $400. I think I'll stick to my $25 XP90.

what I am thinking about are the peeps out there that are a lil bit nervous about going into watercooling or thermalelectric cooling which goes below ambient temps by quite a bit...(which this is)...but I am sure that you knew that by reading link....seems to be something that people might go after for chips with a "cold bug" or just want something in 1 package that is in between water and phasechange as far as temps go.....I would really like to see a review about this product.

I could have a buddy of mine build something similar for at least half the cost

Extremely expenesive to buy and also to run, not on the silent side either. No specs on the Tecs, wonder if it can even keep an overvolted X2 cool.

Until I see a proper review, this doesn't look any good to me.

I have seen this thing tossed around a number of times. No insulation = not cooler (or much cooler) than ambient = pointless to have a TEC, at least that is what I get from looking at it.

Wow. $400 bigguns eh? That would get you a really nice case, a dual heatercore, and some other rather nice equipment......

To each his own though, I guess....

This is a total novelty product and would NOT have the capacity to cool an x2. definately a colossal waste of money. You don't even get bragging rights with it.

QFT.. with that money you could design and make your own tec block, and get at least a decent WC setup.

Way too much money. My WC setup cost me less than $200 and keeps the "hot Opty" and the GPU cool and quiet.

Agreed - go h20, pocket the extra $200 and get rid of the POS XP-90 which couldnt cool an overclocked calculater.

Im not too keen on it, Way too much. Sooner put it towards a decent Phase setup.
