External HD 300GB & +

I need an external HD and I wanted to know what you guys would recommend. Just that I would order it online but I need to get this over the weekend.

It is fast enough. I just was thinking of just going to BestBuy and buying the HD but I think I'll wait 3 days. For this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822148077 can I basically save files to it like like a regular internal HD since this one is the "pushbutton backup" one. What's the difference between: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822154410 & http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822148076 ?

cache, the only i linked to (cheaper) has 16mb, while the other has 8mb
