View Full Version : Is the 150GB Raptor worth it for performance?

I currently have a 300GB Maxtor Diamondmax10 as my drive in my desktop. I have an older 160GB WD drive with extra storage on it as well.

Money really isn't a huge issue here, but if the overall real world performance difference is less than 15-20% it might not be worth it.

This question is useless without telling us what your applications are and what exactly you want to speed up by 15%.

Just in general. I mostly use the thing as a gaming machine. BF2, CS:S, Oblivion, etc.

Dude if you have to ask, then trust me it isn't worth it for you.
