mcw50-t gasket fit

the mcw50-t pcb top (gpu side) gasket lies on top of a few resistors...the gasket is notched, but it looks obvious that air could still get under. Should i be greasing the bottom of the gasket all along where it makes contact with the pcb??

I did not and have not had a problem, in the few months it has been on there.

Safety first. No harm is done by sealing more.
