Have posted this on my usual forum but the wider audience might bring more suggestions/comments/builds

A little elbow grease created this...

Anyways sealed it all up today ala pics, hopefully you can see the white of the tec down the barb ok? Will leak test tomorrow, then run on saturday. Used movable stainless plates for the hold downs so theyre easy to swap for other hole positions, p4, and gfx aswell.

EDIT : The tec is a drift 0.8

Would it be worth scoring lines into the ceramic(or whatever) of the TEC surface for better area do you think?. or what about incorporating some channels into the top plate to ensure the TEC gets waterflow over the entire surface?, not just between the barbs?...

Welcome back to Blighty!. what goodies did you smuggle back through customs?, electrical ones anyway? :D ...

I think it's difficult to prevent leak (or you might use a thermal epoxy and seal the edge with a sealant silicone)

The other concern is that a Peltier needs a lot of clamping pressure (upto 100 psi) on both hot and cold sides to work effectively. If the middle piece of copper is an "X" or "+" pattern, it will have creats such a pressure when you clamp it with a coldplate.

Totally forgot about this thread ;)

Yeah no leaks works a treat, it was sealed with marine rtv, although ive reached the decision that a 172watt tec isnt enuff balls for 1.95v tbred :/

Anyways unloaded, fired up on the bench got -25 coldplate temps.

2.3ghz @ stock voltage around 9 degrees. Although it climbs fast with more volts unfortunately.

2v its a little pointeless :(

Ill probably make a dual direct hotside, although ive not thought it thru yet...

£45 smackers if anyone wants it? be good for an intel, else ill break it up.
