Why don't you buy a PC card and flash it to work on a mac, try looking on xlr8yourmac

If Steve Jobs wanted you to upgrade your Mac, Steve Jobs would have told you where, how, and what price he wants for your chance to do it.

Thanks for the reply antipop.

That's someting I'm considering.

From what I've seen so far flashing seems to be a little iffy.

One thing that came as a surprise was nVIDIA's site. Even though they're producing cards for the G5 there's no mention of them on their site. At least that I can find.

Here you go :
Nvidia http://www.nvidia.com/page/macintosh.html
ATI : http://www.ati.com/products/mac.html

However they're pricier than regular PC card, this is why a lot of people flash their cards

Thanks antipop and tonyl.

Just heard from someone I know that one of the mods at strangedogs sells flashed evga 7800gt's that work well.

In fact he bought one a couple of months ago and it's working flawlessy in his PCIe Power Mac.

So think I may go that way.

Just an update.

This place (http://store.yahoo.com/lovemacs/6613835.html) sells the Apple 7800gt card.

Pricey - but that's to be expected.
