Is there any keyboard without any key rubbing issue?
I don't want it to be very expensive. Oh, the keyboard that I bought for the computer suck!

Hm...I've used IBM keyboards for years...best build quality I've seen.

Hehe, yeah. Lord knows how many different drinks I've spilt in mine and how many cracker crumbs are in it. I dust it regularly and have had to give it baths a couple times. Still works like a charm...

I've used samsung, compaq, microsoft, logitech, dell
they're all pretty much the same to me, the logitech and microsoft had more functions on them, that's pretty much it.

You can always take a DIY approach.

As an example, I painted all my keys on my home keyboard purple to bother anyone who trys using my computer without the requisite typing skills, and to ensure the paint didn't rub off I added two thin clear coats of paint protecting glunk. Thus far it's worked pretty well... I've had the keyboard about 3 years now and am only now thinking of re-doing the clear coat on a few keys.

I simply changed my keys to DVORAK leyout rather than qwerty, so I'm also the only one using it :)

I'm using both Microsoft Wireless Desktop 5000 and Logitech Cordless Keyboard. Both are good, but Microsoft is my choice. Great battery life, more pleasant feeling while typing (longer lasting too) and better software. Plus i don't like Logitech's zero tilt design. Last but least Microsoft's leather palm rest is one of the best things about it.

Take a look at the Logitech Keyboards. They have quite a bit.

logitech and saitek ones are pretty decent if not some of the best around. afaik the keys on saitek boards dont wear since they are painted on the inside.

I bought a Silicon Graphics board a while back at a local compshop for $14. I liked it so much I went back and bought 4 more.

By far the best keyboard I've ever owned. Short, soft keystroke, and rather quiet.

Heh, considering the proverb " You get what you pay for! ", the Das Keyboard II is the cheapest keyboard on the market next to modern pckeyboard.com units and oldschool model M's. Mechanical keyboards are flat out awesome!

I'm using a Logitech cordless iTouch for 5 years, fast, a bit noise and has many multimedia functions.

is the Silver pad that comes with the Silver Saitek Eclipse actually any use? Im thinking of buying one but I don't know if id even use it. Or do you think the money would be better spent on a better CPU

I had one of these, and if it's the best keyboard you've ever owned, I'd hate to see your previous boards. :nono:

The saitek eclipse has... _OKAY_ keys, but the fact that the paint wears off and it's actually incompatible with gaming is a serious slash on it. THe Eclipse is officially a gimick product, since it fails as it's primary objective: It is the only keyboard that is actually inompatible with games (besides it's brother) and to top it, it's one of the few advertised as a gaming keyboard. Why, please tell me why, normal keyboards do a better job at it than the eclipse?
