Yep, new Windows XP service pack is out!

Do not install it if you already have SP1 though.

The only difference is 1a does not install VM. Does anyone know why MS seems to be abandoning VM?

If you have SP1 installed SP1a doesn't even show up on their update page.
I heard it was part of the deal with FTC.

I hate xp's service pack. It just messed everything up for me, so I had to reinstall it.
talking about MS and SUn, MS were fined quarter of a million for piracy and they are one of the comapnys trying to crack down on piracy.
