I have a TEC that was pulled out of a 'coolbox' camping fridge type thing but I have no idea of it's wattage. I imagine it's about 80w. Is there any way of determining what it acyualy is?. Also if it is 80w will that be enough to cool a Gf3Ti500 core, if so to what kindof temps if a water block is used as well. I know you can't be exact but will it cool below zero in best case scenario?...

Depends if u gonna use chilled water, then u will probably reach negative temps, otherwise i would say u will hit temps like 15-20 C might be wrong though, im using a 169W pelt on a volt modded ti 4600 with water cooling (not chilled water) and im getting temps round 8-11 C at full load depending on room temp...

I just got a 550watt true power a few days ago, the +12V rail reads abit low @ 11.62V (11.75 probably, realisticly), but when I plug the TEC in it does'nt move a jot!, not even 0.01V!!. don't know if I have a wicked PSU or a 5W TEC! :D ...

Is 'Drift' a brand name?, or a type of TEC?, as in 'potted' for when the sides are sealed?...

No drift is a measurement of how well a TEC performs, I think. I could be wrong though.
