Lifetime Warranty Question

i was wondering about the lifetime warranty for your memory. Specifically, if I buy a set of G.skill ram from a member of this forum and I have original packaging but not the sales receipt;

Can I still receive RMA support if the sticks become defective for some reason? If so, how would I go about this?

lifetime warrenty = one owner, but there are ways to get around it.
