I've been running water/anitfreez mix in my system and I'm currious if a mixture alcohol and antifreez would offer any cooling benifit.

For normal H20 cooling (no pelts, etc.) the best liquid is water. Antifreeze will actually raise your temps - very bad at heat transfer. Anyway, I would only use antifreeze for corrosion protection (if you have copper and aluminum) but if you run all copper, water and water wetter or purple ice or Hy-per Lube would be best.

Thanks for your advice, I found some other forum posts that suggest the same thing. Defiently alcohol is out from what I read.
I have to make some of my lines longer and just wanted some advice b4 refilling.
