As of now i have 2 36gb raptors in raid 0 and 2 160gb seagates in raid 0 on my onboard controller.
Windows and rarely accessed files are on the raptors and programs, games and frequently used files are on the seagates.
I was thinking of ditching the raptors and just getting two more of the seagates and haveing one large raid 0 array.
What im wondering is if there will be a hit in real world performance by putting windows on the large array vs keeping it on its own seperate one? Even if its on its own partition on the large array.
Everything is backed up on an external drive so im not to worried about fault tolerance.
