the one on the left i've had for a while ..prolly one of the first versions of the maze 4..the one on the right i got in a couple days ago


whats w/ the diff fittings just wondering (which are better y the change etc)

the one on the left is the older Hi-Flow fittings whith are 9-16 UNF and the one on the right are the new fittings which hold the tubing better (but ironically are a smaller ID) and are 1/4" G/BSP threaded.

hmmm so should i be pissed or not lol

i ment to order the same :banana::banana::banana::banana: and on the site and e-mail it said it would have the high flow fittings


any performance differnce?

i'm useing 1/2' tubeing btw

none really... if i had to guess the older fittings would give you a 0.1-2% increase in performance.

its very easy to drill those holes a bit larger!

Is this (http://www.techsweden.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=131786) maze4 even older? It's got a different top, looks older.

I think the new PerefectSeal fittings are very nice, short and big bore. I use them for everything in my rig.

Yup, both are just a hair over 10mm ID according to my calipers... Just a PITA to get 7/16" ID tubing over those new fittings.

petra, i just measured mine, and the older fittings are a bit larger bore, plus the new fittings increase the ID of the tubing at the fitting entrace without an increase in ID of the fitting, increasing turbulence, which increases pressure drop and reduces flow.

yea i think that maze 4 is older it shows up quite a bit in google image search

petra, i just measured mine, and the older fittings are a bit larger bore, plus the new fittings increase the ID of the tubing at the fitting entrace without an increase in ID of the fitting, increasing turbulence, which increases pressure drop and reduces flow.

hmm, realy interesting! maybe you have a different fitting version? coz Petra's and my measurements say that IDs are identical!
what a pity, I cant use older fittings because of thread size, they look realy better!
