Nice, Europeans have some great supercars and that guy drives the 911 pretty well. I did a rental all over Ireland, right hand driving a stick was good fun.

When i first started watching I was thinking they were gonna say that swinning the tail out around the corners was the fastest way around the track.. thankfully they specifically stated that was NOT the fasted way around the track.. (take that you tire melting morons)
would have been more entertaining with a commanche chasing him with the chain gun in full force.

My friends have offered my for my BD 4 laps on a 996, I don't know which one exactly. I'll be the passenger on the first lap and then i'll drive for 3 more laps. I'll tell how that feel but they told me the first lap is faaaast

Top guy indeed, met him a few years back when I was at Silverstone, got a photo with him and had a short chat. Don't think many TV presenters would bother to take the time to talk to a star struck 14 year old.
That clip is off the show Top Gear and he's very much showboating for the camera, seen him race in GT's over here and everyone knows thats not the fastest way round a circuit :)

Yep, but that clip I believe is off Top Gear as its the 1st generation 996 GT3 :)

Sorry to break the news to you but the Skyline is not the end all of cars and would get schooled by that Porsche...
Hell even I could smoke a Skyline and i've got very few mods on a "crappy domestic car". :rolleyes:
Total $ Spent is also loads less...

gtr 34 attesa awd system a mod ecu and some minor tweaks and you have a beast (either in straight line or cornering ) and wait for the GTR 2007

The 2007 version looks a heck of a lot better than the last one they made, i'll give them that. I never did like the large sedan look.

I wish they turned better. Over at the PCA GGR region event autocrosses we smoke them in 914s. They don't do the low speed handling as well as I would expect them to.

I was just wondering why there is this obsession with the Mclaren f1 and the Nissan skyline?
The Mclaren is a moody unpredictable car.
So in real world driving it would get schooled by say a Ferrari Modena unless the driver in the mclaren was a professional.
And wtf is up with the skyline?
It looks like a mid nineties econosport car.
I drove a friends 96 and I wasnt impressed.
There's no replacement for displacement!

if you drive a GTR 34 with some simple mods it puts alot of something in the mid 500WHP without spending a lot of money...
the car is a beast besides that is AWD hughe yes but it handles pretty nicely i would take an RX-7 before the GTR34 but the new GTR 2007 looks pretty amazing and is smaller
