I just got my Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD2500KS 250GB and I installed windows and it boots up relly slow.So far no clicking sounds.I tested with hdtach and I got 55mb transferate.How can I findout if its defective?
EDIT now it's booting fast but when it gets to loading setting it takes a long time and when I shut down after it's almost done it gives a BSOD

I'm starting to think it's the OS because of the way it errors.It was a clean install but in a while I'll try reinstalling.
