Has anyone found a mod for this yet?

I recall someone working on it, but the thread is no longer here.

So if anyone can help me out here, it would save me the extra money I would otherwise spend getting a 9500.

Thanks

I thought that all Ti4200 volt mods did the same.......

As far as I can see, the PNY has a different lay out. Ive looked through the 4200 mod that sys put up, and his card differs from the PNY card.

I think DDTUNG was working on it at one time, but I cannot be too sure.

You need to check the default voltages for the core/mem, and then go from there. Just look over the layout well and see what chips you see.

Most likely you will have 2 SC1102CS chips on it. One will be for the core and the other for the mem.

The 2 chips on the left upper side are marked as:
- U813: 51031 - 72Ai
- U815: TL431C - 26M - C2Y2
In the right bottom there is U816: P22SL - 74ACT08
Any idea?

IM taking the card to my gramps so he can figure out the needed mod. He has his masters in e.e., so it should not take him too long to figure out...

Didn't ever hear jack back, so I guess I'm going to try to figure it out myself based on the other cards mod guides.

Take a look at this (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1923&highlight=ti4200) thread. It seems to have some invaluable info and pics needed for the vmod(s).
