I have a question to all vdd-modders ;)

which resistors do you use?

which are "healthy" for the board??

I'll use a 620ohm... or should I use another??

After this mod the board should able to run @ FSB 200 sync mode

chr!s, PiLsY has put together an excellent consolidated thread on the 8rda+ vdd mod here:

should answer your questions!

thx for your replies... I think I can find the correct resistor...

A fixed resistor of 680Ohms gave me 1.856v. Once in a while it spikes to 1.87v for a couple secs.

I can do a FSB of 226 but backed it down for stability.

TechTone, Singel or dual ddr @ 226 FSB?

Single

But my buddy did 225 Dual

680ohm gave me 1.808 - perfect. I put some as3 under the stock heatsink on the NB and glued a 60mm fan to it and everything is run fine and stable.

I have a dumb question? Does a resistor have positive and negative? I just bought a 680-Ohm resistor from Radio Shack and want to make sure I solder it correctly. You help is appreciated.

no, a resistor has no polarity so you can solder it any which way..
