I think that i fried my board trying the chipset volt mod but i am not sure ,i cannot get this thing to post for the life of me but is their anyway of checking to make sure that the board is indeed dead??

Take it out of the case and use all known good parts...only install cpu, hsf, ram, video and ps. If still no post, try changing bios chip if you can access a new one. If no post...RMA is the only thing left that I know of. Is is possible that it is bios chip, if you can't get one or don't want to mess with it..RMA.
