I have the choice of using my raptor or setting up a ide raid on my dfi nf3 rig. Which would let me have a better oc?

Sata is more succesptable to corruption than IDE that would be about the only difference i could think of.

well the only two locking SATA ports on EPox are right next to the Graphics card.. which means you might need to mod to use them if your Graphics cooler is too large..
Performance wise.. I would go with the Raptor but in your case.. I vote IDE

This is for a dfi ut nf3 rig not my epox.

Then for the safety of your overclock.. IDE is the only answer...

Alright well I guess Ill be putting together 2 40gb 7200rpm maxtors in raid 0 instead of the raptor.
