Right now my 12 cm papst fan is just place at the center on the rad, right on. And ofcourse im will make a shroud some day, but how big improvement in water cooling will a shroud give me?
not big, but prolly noticable. i'd recommend it for how ez they are to make :)

You can always trim up some 3.8 cup gladware.
