I installed and reinstalled the windows at least 6 times in the past 2 days. Whenever I configure my harddisks on raid=0 64K stripping size, windows freezes during the installation where it needs to be restarted. I can still complete the installation by manually switching off the PC. However, after the installation the pc won't power down unless I manually switch it off. As if the case loses it's ATX capability. It's just like the old days when you have to wait windows to give you that "you can turn of you PC safely now" screen. But, other than that, it works just fine.
On the other hand, if I set the stripping size to let's say 32K and install the windows everything goes fine and I don't experience any problems. The only thing is I don't get the the same performance from the Hd's as I would with the 64k setup and I really want to squeeze the performance out of my raptors.
I have no idea how to fix this. Please advise.
