For a Storm G5 cpu block and 2 maze4 vga blocks? I have no radiator as I use an open air type res. Holds about 3 gallons of water. Temps never change really.

It sayes MCP600 on the box????? I monitor the water temps with my Fluke multimeter and it doesn't fluctuate 1c during 3dMark benching...Would it be better to run a second pump for the cpu or can a "y" fitting be okay?...

No, the older d5 is the d4 or mcp650.

Wow, you have a G5? What did you pay for it?

50Z is enough, although for such a nice waterblock I would get it a hardcore rad and a MD20RLZ

My washtub style res is great. I bench in the garage so it stays cold. My average temps are in the teens...when I want colder I just go to the frig and get some ice and I have instant cold. I'm a little different as it is not inside the house.

oh wow.. in the teens.. nvm.. no rad can compete with that.

Only way to improve is to pipe into the ground and use the ground to cool the copper pipes

Or put the pipes into a waterstream or summink

Works great for what I need. I used Rivatuner to check temps duing 3D and there was not 1c raise in temp during the whole run.....thats what I'm talking about right there....So it sounds like I could do this then????

If you trust your onboard sensors...

No I dont, but I do trust my Fluke multimeter that measures water temp.

Yeah as far as I know that pump is pretty much the same as the AQX 50Z, and that pump is just fine for your setup.

Sounds like enough anyway! :slobber:

Well, you said you monitored it with rivatuner, and unless you monitor your fluke multimeter with rivatuner, that's an onboard sensor you're reading
