Not a big fan of tailpipes, but those look ok. What does it say on em?

I just had my cat back done by 702 motoring in Las Vegas. (http://www.702motoring.com/) Super tight job and not too noisey.

Your car might have baffles that were added to comply with "pass by noise" ordinance. They can be removed for added horsepower.

Very nice tips, I like the flare at the ends. Nicely done.

Ever since I used uncle bens and my rice injectors have been clogged. I put on a 32" diameter exhaust tip and that did not fix the problem.

what was wrong with the dumps you had?

how ever do you plan to pass emmissions with those bad boys,
I didnt see any ports for o2 sensors, did you get some simms?

^^^ Trust me... properly tuned a car equipped with smog equipment will pass without it. :)

ya, prove it.

Well you see it all go down to the reaction of octane. Since we all know the reaction is
C8H18 + O2 --> CO2 + H20 I’m not going to balance it.

So where does all the NOX stuff come from you ask? Side reactions.
It a car is tuned right side reactions are at a minimum. Also if all the fuel is burned there will be less fuel in the exhaust (obviously) so it helps to pass emissions.

We do it all the time on our late seventies and early 80's porsche 911's.... Fews weeks ago had a 3.4ltr Carrera with euro premuff and cat bypass pass smog better than they did new with catalyst and ect. ;)

The only part it wouldnt pass is Visual inspection, but a smog referee will easily take care of smogging ;)

What's with the rice comments? These tips are only 2.75" inlet and 3" dual outlet, nothing crazy here. Hell it's smaller pipe than most import guys run with 1/2 the engine size to push exhaust through it.

Here are some pics of a fellow member's Silver TA with these tips. People love them:

http://www.ls1poweredta.com/

As far as emissions go, the rear O2 sensors have been deleted (they serve no purpose other than to tell the PCM that the cats are working) and I did not install new catalytic converters. Some use high flow cats but I did not due to cost and the fact that we have no testing here. They can always be added in the future if really necessary. The AIR system is also gone as it no longer has a use. I'll post engine pics later though when its looking a little nicer in there.

As for the dumps, they were nice but only the first phase of my exhaust overhaul. This will finish it up. Besides they rattle the heck out of the interior ;)

I like the tips, I dislike rice burners and abuse them on a regular basis.

The regulations in nebraska are unreal, letting you pull the emissions stuffs like that. Kinda scarey with pipes that low to the ground.

You got my permission to ban the next person who disses your ride.

Haha, I don't think I have those kinds of priviledges here though ;)

If I move to another state I can alter the setup if needed.

I have a rather large mod in the works at the moment...when it all comes together I may have some track times/numbers to show but not until it's all tuned and I have a wheel/tire/suspension that can hook well.

My exhaust is not stock at all anymore.

I could say that back in 1999 with my Camaro SS. :p:

I'm pretty set on the Nitto Drag radial. I'm not sure about what i'm going to run up front though.

I'll have 275 (stock size) up front and 315 in the rear.

I would have if I weren't in 10th grade at the time :P

I've actually grown-up a lot in the 6+ years (almost 7) that I've owned by SS. I am just about to get a new 2006 Acura TL. I think its a great balance of performance and luxury. Sports sedan. heh. I like it quite a bit. The SS is just too much for everyday driving seeing as it has a 525HP 383ci LS1 in it now with just about every single mod there is. You every check out www.LS1.com or www.LS1tech.com? I was part of the big LS1 craze there back in 1998-2002 or so.

rice means that you've added a completely useless esthetic mod to your car, and worst of all its an exhaust tip lmao

Small difference is that we benifit from less restricted exhaust. Its not just for look but rather horse power.

No emmissions eh?

How bout a set of Hooker Dragster Headders, 1 3/4 primaries and a 5in. Dia collector. Nuff said.

yeah, exhaust tips give you like 20whp. its nothing compared to 100whp added by an eagle painted on the hood though.
