A few weeks from now, AMD server owners will get a nice 200MHz per core speed upgrade with the Opteron 185, 285 and 885 series CPU. The Opteron 185 is virtually identical to the Athlon FX-60 -- 2.6GHz per core, 2x1MB L2 cache, 90nm SOI process.

Exactly on par with the FX-60.. who would have thunk it with the exact same core running at the same speed and with the same amount of Cache...

Most websites have an Opteron 185 embargo until March 7. We don't.
Why is that?
