Anyone heard of these before? Got a couple of them right in front of me...
They are a week old I think... complete stepping is:

ADA3200DAA4BW
NBBWE 0605WPMW

Anyone who can say something about these? What to expect? Would these have coldbug? Thx! :p

Seeing as they're from week 5 of this year that does mean it's only from the first or second week of February. You are probably one of the first (on XS at least) with ones so recent so get testing and report back! :)

Wow that's litterly brand new! It seems newer steppings are doing better and better (like opty dc 0550 has taken over 0530 now). Hope to see more 2006 steppings :toast:

i tested a 3000+ nbbwe 0602 FPMW...
it was crappy 2200MHz at stock volts aircoolled

i also seen a 3200+ nbbwe 0602 FPBW that do 2700MHz 1.45v aircooled :)

Just picked up a 3200 NBBWE 0608 FPMW. Hope it aint bunk like ^^^ :censored:

but hey, if it is, ill just keep my cpu, and throw it in my customers rig :p:

WOOT!! does 2.6 on stock, 2.9 but vcore needed is WAAAY to high for aircooling (1.7 or so), posts and boots at 3.2 at high voltage but not stable. currently running at auto+13% vcore @ 2.75 CnQ enabled (cuz it runs 24/7):D i like it!! :woot:

you must have stock cooling i assume?

ShaTR

negative. Arctic cooling freezer 64 pro ;) and im in da basement. and i live in toronto :D

im just a freak about keepin my cpu cool. priming went to 48. if it touches 50, i don't like it.

ps. i think this cooler has to break in a bit. or maybe change to AS5 compound. cuz it seems to work the same as my old zalman 7000alcu. ill give it a few days to break in, if no change, then imma reapply AS5 and remount.

I have tested a NBBWE 0608GPMW for a friend of mine. This was only 2m stable at 1.6v, guess around 2.5 prime stable at this vcore.

Runs very very cool, just not a good overclocker but that's perfect for him since he's jsut looking for a nice affordable computer for daily use.

p.s. dont mind the memory, it's :banana::banana::banana:ty RAM (that I'm even using with my Opty now since my other is in RMA)

I got a 3200+ stepping a NBBWE 0608APMW. This was prime stable at 2.8G@1.568V and 2.85G@1.648V with CM Hyper48 :)

seems like these things are aight for the money. runs HOT though.

going naked seems like a good option, but im scared ill mess up the cpu. never de-IHS a cpu before, and scared ill cut in too much.

currently, if i run at 1.55v, i hit 50 degrees priming with the Freezer 64 pro!! :o seems kinda high of a temp, doesn't it???

ROFL can you believe how different the reactions are in this thread? Hot, cold, good OC, bad OC.

By the way thienloi those voltages reproted by your software are about 0.05v off you know that right? :fact:

update: yeah, so i cleaned off the thermal paste for a remount and.... lets just say, ive never bought a cooler with SUCH a bad surface. so i guess my night is gonna go to lapping and reinstalling.

fyi, temps stayed at 51 @ 1.53v when priming!!!!!! im sorry, but thats just not sufficient. My zalman 7000alcu does the same thing at the same voltage and clocks. hopefully, after lapping, i get soem good temps. may try filing down the fins and some of the plastic to make it fit my DFI facing outward (my gold VX won't work in yellow slots :()

aight, so i did a half-ass lapping job. flatter to the fingernail, but not perfect by a long shot. much better though. also positioned it facing exhaust. load temp is now the expected 45. 24 degrees ambient and rig is in my shelf in my desk. open door though. basically, wut im saying is, ITS WORKING :D

happy happy joy joy :D:D

Put a FAN 80x80 to blow some heatsinks on mobo (see picture to more detail), PWMIC will decreased ;)

alright, so i got some good temps after lapping. also got a fan blowing over my Zalman chipset now to decrese temps on that a bit. PWM is being cooled by a side intake. ram by an 80mm (Gold VX)

@ 2.75:
chipset loads up at 45 idles at 36
CPU loads at 46 idles at 38

Here's a screeie of stock voltage @ 2.6

Forgot to do a screenie at 2.75, but here's a small run of it

very happy with this thing, and with the AC Freezer 64 as well (after lapping of course). WISH the dfi had more vcore % options, because i run cool'n'quiet. if i had a tiny bit more voltage, i could run 2.8 all day long. ah well, close enuf :)

Cheers! :toast:

NBBWE 0608GPMW Newegg 06/30/2006.
2650@1.38v 36C Load, Boinc Predictor...
I've never had one run this cool at this speed.
Using stock Opty heatsink with a 92mm fan....

This replaced a Winny3200 that ran 2350@1.45v, 50C Load ...same heatsink...
