Testing....1T available for once????? PLS.. ;)

Have tested it....flashed and then runme parameter on boot floppy....erase CMOS and got going.....

So far, there is a Drive Strength parameter...(weak/normal) and also other features.....
will try to have a pic...:)

Cinebench 2003 is running fine and i have a fine SP 1M 1.4 of 33.9 sec...@ 2475/275 mem...1T and DDR 400...

However, still can't run Dual SP...SHUTDOWN :(

I know rig is stable @ 1.4 Vcore (from previous BIOS...ran Dual Prime 95 and games such as BF2 SF..so...??
Power Case is ok, 4 HDD is 2 X RAID 0 setup, Opty 165 @ 2457 and Corsair PC4400 TCCD @ 2.75 / CG is X800 GTO²..flashed to X850 XT PE ;)

I set Vcore to 1.425 V (to be sure...) and chipset to 1.6V.....one may never be cautious enough.....

Hey, I have the same MOBO, and i was wondering why can't I overclock at all with 4x512mb of ram :( its geil one tccd

and i just gave up and sold my fatal1ty on ebay.....oh well, my DFI does 300 @ 1.6v :D

Simply, because the Fatal1ty sucks hard ass, you would be much better off selling it and buying ANY other mainboard, as longs its not another Abit one of course :D Seriously though, the last decent AMD board Abit made was the NF7-S \AN7, Abit are just too deep in a rut to offer anything special right now, though supposedly they have halfed their debt in one year, though as is obvious, they have made serious sacrafices.

Do not expect any resolution of the CPC issue of that *"old"* motherboad :(
Let's hope for some better motherboards from Abit-USI in the future :)

I never said the fatal1ty was good, I only ever said it had promise, and it was dependant on abit fixing some serious issues. im surprised 1t remains a problem though, 1t was working in the official 1.9 bios when i tested it like 2-3 months ago with my gskill.

you crapped on DFI in favour of Abit hence the backflipper hehehe

and 1T always works/ed ;) with the right RAM

1t was working in the official 1.9 bios when i tested it like 2-3 months ago with my gskill.

Actually the 1T issue is featured in all the bios releases of the AN8 Series :(
I've tested thoroughly the issue, trying combinations of CPUs ( diffirent cores ) & DIMMs.
Some combinations worked ok with 1T some didn't.

Can you list out what did and didn't work? I am stuck with this board for a good while now so I would like to know my options.
