Heya folks. I hope I am in the right forum for this but I am a bit new to HEX editing and I am trying to 'limit' certain selections from be available in the BIOS. I have attached the BIOS to this thread. I am just trying to locate where the CPU FSB MHz items are located as well as the CPU Multiplier options. I just want to have certain multipliers selectable as well as certain voltage options. I want all other options to be unlisted. I have searched in the HEX but I do not see things like:

200, 201, 202, 203, etc.

or

x10, x10.5, x11, x11.5, etc.

Here is a link to the BIOS in case the attachment didn't make it:

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I dont know a thing about bios files, and how they are coded. What I mean, is whether they are representing the 200 as a character input or integers. The 200 could be represented as 3 seperate character inputs of 2, 0, then 0. Or it could simply be an integer value of 200.

Well, if everything is in hex, then 200 is represented like 0xC8 if its an integer - and 0x323030 if represented as characters. And this of course is dependent on how the file is setup bit wise.

If its 32bit action, then 200 would be represented as 0x000000C8, but should be shown as 0xC8, C8, or 0C8

I need to pop a bios in a hex editor sometime and look it over just to see how its arranged.
