Finally, my 8rda+ runs fine :) Except some heating problems :(

I'm aircooling the thing, so I don't expect great temps :stick:

BUT 65 @ load is a bit over the edge right?

I'm cooling the case like this:

http://www.xs4all.nl/~wimox/air.JPG

1= my volcano 7+
2= a 92mm zalman cooler blowing over the nb
3= 80mm fan @ 7v outtake
4= 120mm fan @ 7v blowing over the ti4600
5= 2x80mm intake@5v

idle around 45/full load 65 :mad:

The heatsink doesn't get extremely hot but you can feel that it's transporting some heath

Setup:
2400+ @ 1.9v
8rda+
2*256
ti4600
bla :)

What am I doing wrong :confused:

Hi Wimo
Yes, temps too high...how do you measure them? In bios..MM5..etc? What kind of thermal paste on cpu? How much did you apply? Did you try reseating HS to insure even, tight contact? Did you move or adjust the hs on cpu after it made contact? Is HS fan connected to mobo or PS and spinning at good rpm? Is HS clean from dust? Your drawing of fan locations was a good idea. I would think with all that cooling, your temps would be better.

TheDude,

I measure them with mbm5/epox program/bios. The volcano 7+ is only 3 weeks old and it's shiny and clean. I haven't moved the heatsink and since it's getting warm :rolleyes: I'm using coolermaster paste to secure correct contact with the hs. I applied a tiny drip and with my cc I straigtend it over the cpu
