2*1GO HZ with 3000+ rev.D ( winchester core )

Hi, i've got a problem, but i doesn't know if it's normal.
i've got a dfi sli expert and a 3000+ winchester , my problem is that i can't run the pc with one stick in single channel, boot only with 2 stick in single at a max fsb 166MHz, and the famous is that in dual channel it doesn't boot :D
i think that the proc revision was the cause of my problem but i'm not shure.
i will recieve my opteron dual core next week but for the moment.. my computer looks like an old car for performance

Did you do CMOS reset? This problem happens all the time. Also use the orange banks.

i do a cmos reset before :D but it doasn't work with the stick in orange banks :(
this afternoon i'll recive my opteron 170 the problem will ( i think) be solve but for the moment if i want to use my gskill it's only in the yellow bank ( single channel) and only with two stick
