ATi Tray Tools problem

Due to some time, anytime i start ATiTT (manually, or automatically at startup), My PC wont respond for like 5 seconds (cursor wont move, nothing) and then acts normally. It's getting on my nerves :stick:

The only change i've done is reinstall windows on my replacement 300 GB hard drive, which i got back from RMA yesterday. It worked fine on my other drive...

Help me out please :)

this has happened since the last two driver revisions... ati is now packing too much crap in thier drivers that when you load the tray tools it loads 3 different processes (not all show up when you ctrl+alt+delete) and uses quite a bit of the page file for a few seconds. i got it to go away by using the omega ati drivers.
