Hey I'm trying to decide whether to keep my 4x 36.7gb raptor config or get a single Raptor 150GB (or maybe 2 150gb raptors if the performance worth it). Could somebody run a HDTach and post the results? Here's what I get with my current config.

Thanks in advance :)

Performance increase won't be great enough to render you replacing what you have I don't think.

I'd just invest in a pair of SATA II high capacity drives if you're looking for the space.

your Quad Raptor set up will beat a Dual 150Gb raptor setup..
Just a thought..

I wish I had a pci-x slot in my mobo so I could use my 15K Rpm Hitachi Ultrastars. Man those things were fast! Unfortunately, installing the adapter into a pci slot will kill their performance (PCI bus limitation). I wish there is a s939 mobo with 2 pcie 16x and pci-x (133mhz) slots.

Dude I can't even find an s939 with PCI-X let alone with SLi/Crossfire support

I'm having 2 of them on my P5WD2-WS and don't use them. Maybe i'll lend u one... :)

BTW i was expecting a bit more from a 4 x 36.7 raptor raid0 array. Here's mine with 2 of them.
