A writer for the Japanese print mag "Macfan" is reporting that he bought a Core Duo 2 GHz CPU and installed it in his iMac Core Duo 17-inch — replacing the iMac's stock 1.83 GHz Core Duo.

you guys should be able to overclock these things now......that would be tops heheheh

anyone tried pin-ground OCing like has been done on the Dells? i'd imagine that's the way to go.

Course without anyone having really tested the Core Duos we don't know remotly what they can do thus pin-ground OCing gets really trickey

Umm the new iMac's do have Intel Duo chips in them. I have one! :D

I just saw a commercial from Intel saying Mac will have Intell cpu's in them soon.

Maybe these computers were already compatible with there cpu's :p:
