Cannot clear memtest with gskill HZ @ 246Mhz

Hi,

I recently bought gskill ram.
This is my rig.

opty 144 @ 2.7ish
asus a8n-e bios 1010(latest)
gskill 2gb hz
ocz modstream

Can someone please help me run this ram without memtest error. I'm using the windows memtest btw.

Here are my timings. The asus motherboard does not have that many.

DDR voltage: 2.6V

Timing mode : manual
Memclock index value: 266Mhz
Tcl : 3
Tras: 8
Trcd: 4
Trp : 4
Trc : 11
Trfc: 15
Trwt: 4
Twr: 3
1T/2T: 2T

A64 tweaker does not seem to want to set the values I want. After each restart it goes back to default values. Maybe I am doing something wrong.

asus AMD platform mobo has big compatible issues with memory when it reach high FSB
some a64 tweaker setting could not used in AUSA AMD platform mobo also.
change your
trc to 7
trtw to 3
twr to 2
1T/2T to 1T

see it helps or not

I got many memtest errrors using the changed settings.

I am trying 2T with the same settings. I hope this is not a bad pair of ram.

Ok - I tried 2T with the same settings and no go.

I switched ram slots and tried 1T and 2T and no go.

well i think maybe you can try on DFi mobo since asus has big compatible issues with many memory. but you are welcome to do the rma to try
