Anyone know where to buy Pelts small enough to place on the Ramsinks of the 9700Pro and possibly voltage regulators????

why not just make a coldplate that covers them all and then chill the coldplate with the pelts? Sounds a lot simpler, easier, and cheaper to me.

Yea well they are spread out so that would take either a really big pelt or two fairly sized one's and if i go with the small pelts they would take less power. i dont really have room for 3 PSU's i mean, ive thought of it but someone on the forums said they had a friend with micro pelts that seemed to work great im just lookin for a vendor.

Look here for peltiercooled ram on radeon 9700pro.
It works, but not worth the effort. even N20 cooled ramsink don't pass 800

LOL 8 TECs for ddr. Sorry but that's not gonna help much. You are right though. I haven't seen anyone bench at 800 or higher except me. Not even those LN2 freaks. Just think if only the LN2 guys volt modded the ddr my way then maybe they'd have a chance of beating my ddr ramsink cooled only aka no fans blowing air on ddr or ramsinks and ambient temps in case about 74f. I was gonna build a huge evaporator for gpu and all the ddr. But hell why bother now. It's taken me months. But well worth the effort. :D

How did you mod the card or memory to run at 405mhz x2 810?
That would be work well on my rig to try in reach the 20,000 mark.....

Check rage3d.com and asusboards.com forums. Search forum by my username. I don't have any articles at this time. But there should be enough info there to get your ddr to 390 or so. Well at least i hope so.

I run my ddr with cheapass ramsinks with VDDq@2.85 VDD@3.175 and Vref@1.490 respectively for 405x2 mhz and zero artifacts.

Is the VDDq Voltage the I/O Voltage? If so, my voltage is sitting around 2.84v -2.86v @default..

I have turned my Vdd to 3.1v... and could run 3dmark @ 365mhz....

Have you tested the Vref mod to see how much of a improvement it gave you? Like benching @default and then benching with the mod?

I have a Tyan with the board monitor software, which makes it nice....I have the VPU Core temp&voltage, and memory core (vdd) and memory I/O (I think Vddq) and temps

But all that said, Can I do the vref mod? and how do I do this, or maybe a thread you can lead me to......???
