Ok... Just got back from the auto show and I had a blast as usual!

This year there was about 2x the amount of people which really sucked, it stopped me from taking pix of a lot of cars I wanted to snap shots of. Most of the cars had so many ppl around em I couldn't get any angles and just said :banana::banana::banana: it. Sorry for any :banana::banana::banana:ty pictures that are blurry or off-center. The crowds just made it impossible to get good pictures this year. :(

Some however I did fight to the front of the line to get pix of... One being the new Dodge Challenger and the Ford Shelby GT 500 Mustang:

Yeah, taking a Horse and crossing it with a Snake on the same car makes a lot of sense

you know.. i still think the stang looks a bit to small or rather narrow. the front
and rear shots make it seem kinda too high for its width. i think if the cars were
either less high or somewhat wider they would definitely look more appealing.

and what struck me with the charger was the windows. it seems there's no real
frame around the windows. nothing like it used to be, like little chrome borders
that separated the window from the actual body. i think if you add those, it
may look real good. of those two cars i would chose the charger. its proportions
seem to be more in synch than the gt500 ones... just my 2ct

i like more the gt500 but i love the back of the challenger (it has a concept look)

Yeah the Challenger is pure sex... From what I gathered from the Dodge reps is that this is what the production model is going to look like, which is great :) I hate when they take a great looking concept and twist it to a more "normal" state and lessen its appeal. It'll be a great move for Dodge if they release it in this form.

The Challenger will be a production vehicle. And it will be mine. The mustang looks good also. Take a look at the 65-66 mustangs and narrow an high is how they were built. Less metal more motor = Fast.
