Well for those of you who followed it on hardforums, I am still working on my Cryofreezer. Got some pics to show and some questions that need answering. Hopefully you guys can help.
Basically what I have on my hands is, I have to reinsulate everything in the setup, and before I do that I have to clean it. Today I ripped out the old stanky insulation that was literally falling apart. I found a piece of paper in the control panel door that said "1977" and "last updated 1984"... it was some kinda compressor spec sheet or something.
In any case, it's old, and it needs cleaning and reinsulation. The rest I shall explain with pictures.

As you can see it is in my garage, the big beast that it is :P

Here I have an overview of the setup just so you can see that angle. On the left the piping is where I took off the old stanky insulation. I'll show a better pic of the piping in another picture.

This is the right side which didn't have any insulation on it b/c I presume it's not cold :P It really needs some cleaning!!

This is the left side where I took of the insulation. You can still see the huge thing of insulation on the end. I didn't rip that off cus I can't really get in there with good leverage right now.

That's all the pics. Now my questions...
How can I clean this thing!?? Can I just hose it down???? Or must I just take a wet paper towel to everything? Either way it doesn't matter to me. But I just wanna know what the easiest way would be. Would I damage it by hosing it down?
I geuss really that's all. I will be purchasing some insulation for this @ home depot pretty soon. And that's it for now. If you have any suggestions or comments please do post up. I don't want this to be a flame fest of "omg DIY OWNS YOU SUCK OMG OMG H4x" like what happened on hardocp.
THANKS! :smileysex
