Mine was dropped as I was passing it to the back seat. (I was paying attention to the road, not my console) There's a large gouge in it now, but it's not really noticable because it's in the nothernmost part of the screen.

If I was to buy one of those replacement faceplaces they sell all over the place would it get scratched up very easily because they use really cheap plastic or would it last like the one from Sony?

I'll live with the gouge if replacement plates will just scratch easily.

It will scratch just as easily
unless you go all out and get the high end from a speciality shop

I don't care about that. Just as long as it's not like some of those replacement cases for the GBA that scratch far easier. The same strength is fine.

What brand do you reccomend? I'm sure there are cheap brands that do use crappy plastic.

Give me some brands! You have knowledge on the subject, don't make me waste 100$ on 5 different cases.

if you're still looking, check HardOCP. They did a PSP mod this week. Should be at the top of the page. Looks like a high quality replacement.

Why would you pay $100 to get a new faceplate for a little dent when you can hardly notice it? Does it really :banana::banana::banana:ing matter that much?

100$? It's alot closer to 15$, and yes, mine has a large gouge in the screen area so it's noticable.
