I just wondered if anyone has tried this, i thought that it would be helpful to know if there is a relationship and you can judge the prime stability from running super pi 32mb test.

For instance if you can only just complete super pi 32mb test at 2.7g, then at the same voltage and cpu speed will it complete prime 12h test at 2.6g?

I know super pi 32mb is quite memory intensive, but i thought that if it works it might be a quick way to find out your maximum prime stability speed.

From my experience , with a dual core opteron the difference between a dual 32m SPI and dual prime , is about 60Mhz. 2600Mhz SPI , 2540Mhz Prime95

It's not 32mb, it's 32Million and yes, it's a pretty good indicator of stability- probably a slight bump in voltage or drop in mhz will make it prime stable.

He meant to just put m and the b just got there. Your pretty testy when someone makes a mistake.:slap:

Prime will need more volts or slightly less CPU speed than 32M Super PI.
