HDD Setup Questions.

i already have 120GB WD Caviar SE SATA HDD ( WD1200JD )
and i want to buy anthor HDD the same model to put them in Raid Config.

1- whats the best Config for the 2x120GB??
2- is it possible to mix 2 deffrents brand in on Raid like WD and Maxtor?
3- is it possible to put 120GB HDD + 160GB HDD on Raid setup??
4- in my mobo , where should i put the 2 sata connectors for the 2x HDD for Raid Setup?

1- Depends on your mobos capabilities, some include 0,1,0+1,5.
2- Yes (pretty sure)
3- Yes (pretty sure)
4- You should have up to 8 SATA plugs, probably seperated by two different colors, look at the mobo PCB it should be labled SATA or SATA RAID, or look for the online manual.
5- You'll need to do a clean install have a floppy drive loaded with the raid controller files.
6- Its strongly not recommended to install your OS onto a RAID 0/1 drive because of drive failure and inability to recover.

so whats the best to use on the Strip config for everyday and for performance use? 16k, 32k 64k 128k , 256k?

also i noticed somthing about the Seagate 80GB HDD's and that is the Sata 3GB got 11ms avarage Seek time while the Sata 1.5GB got 8.5 avarage Seek time, so which one is the best??

Typically, the 1.5GB with the lower average seek time.
