Hello all this is my first post. I've read through a few xp90 threads and found that people have to apply pressure when installing xp90s?! The first time I installed my xp90 I didnt read the manual; I direcly installed the aluminum on the black mount thing and screwed it into the backplate (like a zalman cpu cooler) with ease.
I'll go step by step
1) Pick up the black mount thing and put the screws through it (very important)
2) install the xp90 into the 4 mounting holes
3) use a fairly thin screw driver to screw in the 2 screws to the motherboard backplate
