And why don't you recommend users dropping $20 to take advantage of extended options and features??? That's like .05% of your rigs cost, lol...

and yet it does nothing to benefit the rig.

Besides, I wouldn't encourage Futuremark to butcher the functionality for free users.

hell, i would, and did shell out the cash to pay for the pro versions of the 3D/PC mark benches

1. i get the extra options/features
and
2. i'm benifiting a company by paying for their product (i don't care if they have enough money already - how do you think they got money in the first place?)

You LIKE 3DMark2006? I think it looks idiotic at parts. Firefly forest was better in '05.

It sure as hell is a lot laggier but not that much prettier.

i havent even downloaded the free '06 yet - all the servers are bogged as hell, and i'm not waiting 3 hours for it to download - i have pro of 3dmark 05, 03, and pcmark 05

Only $14.95 if you purchased '05. I bought it. Big deal. It's $15. Support them, they make a good product. :stick:

Don`t know exactly what`s so good in `06, but I have the Pro version here. The game looks really pathetic - remines me of old Sega times :D

I supported them for $15 :)

That's why i think the GURU3D downloads suck, They Guru-ize every single package and it takes about 300 clicks of different disclaimers before you can actually download something.
