Yes DC,

Black on ground (black),
Red on Live (volt line, red, yellow, orange etc)

ive actually done this before but when i checked the voltages, the computer rebooted itself and things went wonky (tried this a few years ago) Maybe i did something wrong?

black = ground

red = 5v

yellow = 12v

orange = 3.3v

the black probe will always bee in a ground and the red goes to whatever your testing

and use case as ground rather than molex ground, a lot more accurate
