hey guys sirry to ask this, i searched google and could find anything that helped my.
i want to measure the lines of my psu, i got a tester here.
i believe volts of a psu are dc right??
now i just have to plug the tester on the right cables?? black with black and red with X volt line??
any tips or help?

Yes DC,
Black on ground (black),
Red on Live (volt line, red, yellow, orange etc)

ive actually done this before but when i checked the voltages, the computer rebooted itself and things went wonky (tried this a few years ago) Maybe i did something wrong?
black = ground
red = 5v
yellow = 12v
orange = 3.3v
the black probe will always bee in a ground and the red goes to whatever your testing

and use case as ground rather than molex ground, a lot more accurate
