Hi,

I have an old carde , Riva TNT2 M64 32MB

With watercooling I can get it up to 170/175. Thats as high as with aircooling...

I want higher, has anyone an howto or guide or whatever for an Vcore mod and / Or Vmem mod ?

thnx.

lol.....dont you think you should upgrade perhaps? ive never heard anything about a Vmod for this card, or even for anything lower than a geforce2. so...good luck finding one, but i dont think one exists right now. maybe one of the tech guys here can help you though....good luck.

Well Piotke,

I understand the idea of just toying with the old junk that is laying around the room, I don't think you should try this one though. I had a friend who, for a science project on the "peltier effect", that ended up stacking two 155 watt tecs on a TNT2 Ultra and didn't gain more than 25 mhz over the max overclock with air-cooling. The card was thoroughly frosted over if I remember. Kind of disappointing how two tec didn't gain that much and I don't think more voltage will help either because those cores are probably close to max anyways. Maybe I am wrong, but I can think of other things to try to start on fire. :)

tnt/tnt2 mod

vmem voltage = VIO

graphics core voltage = VIO or VAGP (not sure about that one)

just increase VIO in psu o if mobo supports it increase in the bios ;)

tested with my tnt1 on a mobo that suported changing VAGP and VIO in bios :D

#1 tnt1 score

nice score skatan...

Well, I can't really find anything in my bios to adjust it...

And I have a cheap no name PSU, so I don't really know where to change it.
Going to look for a cheap epox 266A or 333...

the lower I found was a Voodoo3 VMod (www.v3info.de/english)

now I´m looking for a way to get 275/275 with my 8500, the max I get is 265/265 with stock cooling and -4ns ram

I´ll also look for TNT2 Vmods :)

Which manufacturer is the 8500? I have one in my duallie here that easily hit 295/310 on just stock cooling with no mods. It's a Ati 8500 le 128mb. The best I've acheived on 3dmark02 was around 9700 points, but bear in mind that's on my duallie which is limited to 150fsb, and I'm using tbred xp1800's set at a multi of 12.5:cool:
