anyone know what is considered the best pre-fab kit, based on actual use & real world performance?

With out a doubt that would be Swiftech QPower!!!!
If you are serious about this - go to www.xtwerkz.com and talk with Frank - these guys are the best in the biz for customer service.

I have JBs old Koolance with Swifty blocks and after some tweaking, I must say I love it! JB was kind enough to include the stock blocks and they are POS crap...so the swifty gear is worth it.
If I were buying a new one, I would go with the QP with peltiers and a dedicated PS to power them.

The new Corsair cooler seems to be getting pretty good reviews, but its loud as hell.
